- support services for those who are not self-sufficient (children, people with disabilities, those suffering from chronic illnesses, and the elderly) must be made more accessible and flexible. These structures should also be available in the evening, and even at night, to take account of the demands of family and working life;

Improving the socio-economic integration of immigrant women.
Programmes must be launched in support of immigrant women, to help them with language learning and acquaint them with the rights and obligations stemming from the acquis communautaire, international agreements, the principles and laws in force in the host country and the fundamental values of the European Union.
- The EPP calls for zero tolerance on women slavery, crimes of honour or tradition, violence, trafficking in human beings, female genital mutilation, forced marriage, polygamy, and acts which deprive women of their identity (such as the imposition of the burqa, the niqab or face coverings).
- Women account for only 32.2% of European managers.
