ECONOMY AND ENVIRONMENT

The EPP Group's political strategy is formulated in the framework of four working groups
which coordinate its Members' parliamentary work in the 20 Committees.

Their conclusions are made known to the Group, which then decides what position to adopt
in plenary sessions of the European Parliament.

Vice-Chairwoman of the EPP Group, Corien Wortmann-Kool MEP, is Chairwoman of the Economy and Environment Working Group.

The Economy and Environment Working Group coordinates the following Committees:

Economic and Monetary Affairs
Employment and Social Affairs
Environment, Public Health and Food Safety
Industry, Research and Energy
Internal Market and Consumer Protection
Transport and Tourism
